Official League Rules

Welcome Pokemon Fans to the Snowpoint Temple League. The Rules are as follows:

All Trainers who Compete Have 12 Points Available to Build their Team Around. Attached Below the Rules is a PDF Document of all Pokemon available for what Points. Trainers are not allowed to Exceed 12 Points

Players must Abide by the Following Smogon Clauses:

Species Clause

A player cannot have two Pokemon with the same National Pokédex number on a team. For example, using a team with two Koffing would break this clause. Using different formes on the same team, such as Rotom-W and Rotom-C, also breaks the clause since they share the same Pokédex number (#479).

Sleep Clause

If a player has already put a Pokemon on his/her opponent's side to sleep and it is still sleeping, another one can't be put to sleep.

Evasion Clause

A Pokemon may not have either Double Team or Minimize in its moveset.

OHKO Clause

A Pokemon may not have the moves Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, or Sheer Cold in its moveset.

Baton Pass Clause

Baton Pass cannot be used to pass stats changes. It can only be used in the scenario of using wish.

Moody Clause

A team cannot have a Pokemon with the ability Moody.

Endless Battle Clause

Players cannot intentionally prevent an opponent from being able to end the game without forfeiting. For example, a Slowbro holding a Leppa Berry can create an endless battle using the moves Recycle, Heal Pulse, Slack Off, and Block. To do so, Slowbro traps one of the opponent's Pokemon, PP stalls it, and heals Struggle damage indefinitely using Heal Pulse and Slack Off.

Swagger Clause

Players cannot use the move Swagger.

Players cannot use the following items:

Mega Stones , BrightPowder, Focus Band

Players cannot use the following abilities :

Moody

In Addition to these rules we have decided to ban Extreme Speed/Belly Drum Linoone as it is Broken in this format.

Trainers

You will be required to register a Team of 6 Pokemon and 3 Pokemon to be called upon durring your Tournament. All Pokemon Must Be registered. Once the team has been registered, you are able to compete. If you wish to cxhange pokemon registered, your progress will be reset. A Team of 6 Pokemon Must Consist of 12 Points

Gym Leaders

Are required to follow a Specific type for their Gym. For example: If the Gym is a Water type gym, all 6 Pokemon Must have the water typing before entering the battle. Dual types are of course allowed. All Battles must be recorded and have the battle code provided to AngeloftheNight091 for the Snowpoint Temple Youtube Channel.

Elite Four Members

You are not restricted by Type or Type of Battle. For example, You can have a mixed Pokemon Type team and can choose either Single or Double Battles. All Battles must be recorded and have the battle code provided to AngeloftheNight091 for the Snowpoint Temple Youtube Channel.

Champion

You are not Restricted by Type, or Type of Battles. For example, You can have a mixed Pokemon Type team and can choose either Single or Double Battles. If you lose a Battle, you are no longer the SPT Champion. Your opponent takes your place. You may re-challenge the league in order to become the League Champion once more. All Battles must be recorded and have the battle code provided to AngeloftheNight091 for the Snowpoint Temple Youtube Channel.
